Baxter Auto 7-Day Return Program
In select transactions for the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle, Baxter Auto may offer a customer (“guest”) an opportunity to participate in the Baxter Auto 7-Day Return Program (“Program”). That program is subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Manger Approval and Agreement. A guest is eligible to participate in the Program only with the approval of an authorized Baxter Auto manager, and upon the guest and an authorized representative of Baxter Auto signing a document agreeing to these terms. Baxter Auto reserves the right to decline to offer the Program to any person or in connection with any transaction. In addition, new vehicles, leases, lease buyouts, in-and-out transactions and multiple-vehicle transactions are ineligible for the Program.
- Time/Mileage of Return. The vehicle eligible for return (“Eligible Vehicle”) must be returned during regular business hours to the dealership from which it was purchased within seven days or 700 miles, whichever comes first. The day of purchase is the first day, so a vehicle purchased on a Saturday must be returned by Friday. The mileage will be computed according to the odometer disclosure completed at the time of sale.
- Return Condition. The Eligible Vehicle must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered without additional damage or wear. The Eligible Vehicle cannot be subject to liens or security interests (other than that created by a purchase money loan). In its sole discretion Baxter Auto may refuse to accept the return of a damaged vehicle, or deduct the reasonable cost of repair from the refund.
- Negative Trade Equity. Baxter Auto may, as a condition of accepting any return, require the guest to repay any negative equity in a trade-in that Baxter Auto advanced to effect the purchase of the Eligible vehicle.
- Additional Signatures as Necessary. The guest must execute a Power of Attorney or such other documents as may be necessary to return clear title to the Eligible Vehicle to Baxter Auto.
- Refund Conditions. If all of the conditions for the return of an Eligible Vehicle are met, then Baxter will, within a reasonable time not to exceed ten business days after the physical return of the vehicle, refund the purchase price of an Eligible Vehicle to the guest, subject to the following deductions:
- The cost of repairing any damage to the Eligible Vehicle.
- The cost of any repairs, maintenance, detailing or improvements performed on any trade-in.
